The veterans awoke to a varied breakfast after a good full nights sleep at Hotel Krakus.
Today, the veterans checked out of Poland and made their way to Berlin. There was one stop on the route. This was to visit Stalag Luft III, made famous by the feature film, "The Great Escape".
This was the groups first full day in Berlin. There was just so much to see and do here that affected so many people, especially veterans of WW2, Cold War and anyone that served as part of BAOR.
Today we show-cased military vehicles, cap-badge and former military weapon collections. The day was a huge success and we saw more visitors through the door of Veterans House than ever before.
