DAY 4: FINAL DAY VISIT TO BERLIN

This was the groups first full day in Berlin. There was just so much to see and do here that affected so many people, especially veterans of WW2, Cold War and anyone that served as part of BAOR. As the plan was to leave for the airport at 7am tomorrow, the group decided to cram in as much as they could. So the plan was to start early, buy 24hr public transport passes, and visit as many places of national, and personal importance as possible.

Glad to say we achieved mostly what we intended.  Some of the places visited were the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie and the Berliner Dome. The day was closed with a well earned beer or two then followed, and a tasty meal at the Italian restaurant. An early night was required prior to the flight home.
