Since we opened our doors in October 2015, we have had a footfall of approximately 2800 people.

We have successfully supported former members of the Armed Forces to find new homes, find work or referred them to appropriate sources of support. The centre has forged links with the Royal British Legion, Macari Centre, Haywood Centre and more recently SSAFA. The Royal British Legion caseworker frequently visits the centre.

The Macari centre helps us with accommodating any homeless former service personnel and the NHS psychiatry team can help to support veterans with mental health issues such as PTSD.

Get in touch

The centre opens on a Wednesday 1000-1600, Thursday 1900-2100 hours and Saturday 1000 - 1400 hours.

During open hours we aim to create a supportive and friendly atmosphere where you can meet like-minded people. The centre has been successful in securing two Medal of Honours for two D-Day veterans, who attend our centre regularly for a cup of tea and a chat with other veterans. We also regularly utilise our minibus, for trips to places such as the Arboretum, and Battlefield tours in Europe.

For further information please see our Blogs page and come and visit us. We would love to meet you.
