We visited the Center today for the first time as we had no idea there was a hub for veterans and ex service families. We were met by some amazing people, volunteers and helpers who run this fantastic hub. We have been informed that they have some programmes running weekly and hope to bring our children down sometime possibly on a Saturday. Thank you to Kathy and all those who have welcomed us in today- we hope to visit often and build more relationships with the veterans community locally. All the best with everything you are doing for the veterans and their families.

As an RAF veteran, I have visited the Tri Services Veteran Support Centre on a number of occasions in recent years once I became aware of its existence. There is always a friendly welcome and most importantly, a brew provided. The staff that I have spoken too are knowledgeable, supportive and the centre provides a safe pleasant environment for veterans of all ages and military services to chat, relax or to just sit in a quite area to simply escape from the challenges of modern life. Hopefully many more veterans will discover and benefit from it for many years to come.

An essential service to support those who have served our country without question and find themselves in absolute need of the centre and support service they provide. This service provides medical, psychological, emotional and financial support to veterans ; without which many may end up homeless and in crisis. The sense of community and the family it gives our veterans is next to none and the work that is done to keep the centre running day to day and the work that is done to expand the services available to our vets is incredible and modestly undertaken by a team of dedicated staff.

I went to meet a relative there who volunteers. Everyone was very kind, I was given a warm welcome even though I am not a veteran myself. My son is a serving member of the armed forces, as was my brother so I understand the importance of talking to others who have shared similar experiences and it was clear to see that all of those present value the centre highly and also the respect and comradeship they received.
