We visited the Center today for the first time as we had no idea there was a hub for veterans and ex-service families. We were met by some amazing people, volunteers, and helpers who run this fantastic veteran charity. We have been informed that they have some community resources for veterans running weekly and hope to bring our children down sometime, possibly on a Saturday. Thank you to Kathy and all those who welcomed us today - we hope to visit often and build more relationships with the local veterans community. All the best with everything you are doing for the veterans and their families.

As an RAF veteran, I have visited the Tri Services Veteran Support Centre on several occasions in recent years once I became aware of its existence. There is always a friendly welcome and, most importantly, a brew provided. The staff that I have spoken to are knowledgeable, supportive, and the centre provides a safe, pleasant environment for veterans of all ages and military services to chat, relax, or just sit in a quiet area to escape from the challenges of modern life. Hopefully, many more veterans will discover and benefit from this veteran support for many years to come.

An essential service to support those who have served our country without question and find themselves in absolute need of the community resources for veterans that they provide. This service offers medical, psychological, emotional, and financial support to veterans; without it, many may end up homeless and in crisis. The sense of community and family that it gives our veterans is unmatched, and the work done to keep the centre running day-to-day and to expand the services available to our vets is incredible and modestly undertaken by a dedicated team.

I went to meet a relative there who volunteers. Everyone was very kind; I received a warm welcome even though I am not a veteran myself. My son is a serving member of the armed forces, as was my brother, so I understand the importance of talking to others who have shared similar experiences. It was clear to see that all of those present value the centre highly, as well as the respect and comradeship they receive.
